Scott Warner

Senior Minister
Scott was born in Kansas but got to Texas as quickly as he could, 6 months later, and has lived here ever since.  He and his wife Melissa moved to Kerrville to serve KCC in the summer of 2022.  Previous to that he served the Westover Hills church in Austin for 18 years. Melissa is an elementary school teacher who currently teaches 4th grade at Starkey Elementary.  They met at ACU and have been happily married since 1991. They have two young adult daughters, Bailey and Mallory, who live in Houston and Denver respectively.  Scott loves sharing the Good News of Jesus to groups or individuals and desperately wants people to know of the freedom that is theirs in Christ.  His favorite scriptures are those in John 15 that talk of Jesus being the true vine and we are the branches.  Scott’s favorite thing to do is to spend time with family, but he also loves being outside hunting, fishing, or going for a run. He hasn’t really found a type of food he doesn’t like, or a coffee he won’t drink, but his favorite food is cajun. His prayer for KCC is that we love God, each other, and the world in such a way that others must know why!

Ricky Pruitt

Youth and Family Minister
Ricky was born in Birmingham, AL, a long time ago.  At age 14 he knew that he was separated from God and made the decision to reconcile his life to God.  His dad baptized his dad surrounded by members of the church in Rosario, Argentina, where his parents were missionaries for 9 years.  The next thing that you need to know is that he married Cindy Pruitt.  They met at Camp Bandina the summer before his senior year in High School and dated for 5 years. Ricky and Cindy both graduated from Abilene Christian University where Ricky studied Youth and Family Ministry and also received a Master’s degree in Biblical and Related Studies.  Cindy serves one of Kerrville’s elementary schools as a school nurse, giving comfort and care to little ones.  They have two awesome daughters (currently in college) and an incredible son who is a part of the KCYouthGroup here at KCC.  Ricky and Cindy moved to Kerrville in June of 2015 and he began serving as our Youth Minister.
Ricky loves adventures.  He sees adventures as windows to see new aspects of God and to see ourselves more fully.  Sometimes those adventures look like a mission trip, a retreat, a camp, serving in ministry, a game night, a time of worship, a long trip, or Mr Gatti’s and Ice Skating in Fredericksburg.  He believes that teens discover a life of faith through a variety of life experiences.
Grilling (on his trusty propane grill), cooking, eating, running, eating Mexican or Tex/Mex food, laughing, watching the FIFA World Cup, cheering for his beloved Bama, travelling with his family, listening to audiobooks with his son … “these are a few of his favorite things” you might find him doing or wishing he was doing.
Ricky has been serving churches and teens since the summer of 1992 when he was a camp counselor for a summer.  Since then he has grown in his passion for families of teens and continues to look for was to help parents lead their families and for teens to take hold of a life of faith on their own.  Ricky believes he is one part of the body that has many beautiful expressions of what a life that follows Jesus looks like.  He loves to partner with other adults to teach and lead teens in discussions of what it means to follow Jesus.

Clark Sayre

Kid's Minister
Mr. Clark tells people he was born and raised in the greatest city on earth, San Antonio, TX, but it’s pretty evident when he takes off his glasses that he’s actually from Krypton and spends his spare time saving the planet. This ancient being graduated high school in 2011 and graduated from Lubbock Christian University with a bachelor’s degree in children’s ministry in 2015. As a kid, Mr. Clark knew he wanted to be involved in ministry (after his NBA career was over, of course). As an eighth grade student, he put his focus solely on kids ministry and hasn’t looked back. There is nothing more fulfilling to him than seeing kids grasp the love and Word of God. When he’s not hanging out with kids or flying around in his spandex saving the world, Mr. Clark loves all things sports. He is a huge fan especially of basketball, American football and disc golf. Married in 2015, Mr. Clark and his wife, Mrs. Maddie, have a two-and-a-half year old son named Asa and a newborn son named Peter! When he grows up, Mr. Clark wants to either be a professional athlete or switch universes and become Spider-Man. Mr. Clark’s mantra is “Faith. Focus. Finish.” and he has faith in, focus on, and longing for the day when the Kingdom of God finishes coming here in totality.

Vicki Coley

Office Administrator
Vicki Coley is the wife of her best friend, Coach Mark Coley (who she calls “Coley”) the blessed mother of two sons and two daughters (Dale, Bonnie, Doug, and Katy), and Nana to eight adorable grandchildren: three boys and five girls.  The Coley’s daughter, Katy (who is 32) and Coley’s mother, Faye Coley, live with Mark and Vicki in Ingram.  Coley is the head football coach at Medina High School, as well as teaching history at MHS.  Vicki’s parents worked at Boles Home, she attended ACU, was a 2-year intern in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and is married to a Texas High School football coach.  Because of those pieces to the puzzle of her history, she has connections all around the world!  She has worked at the KCC office for six years and loves connecting to members and visitors alike.  Helping others know the love of Christ has always been important to Vicki and she loves the people of KCC and Arms of Hope.   The sign at her desk reminds her, “Always pray to have eyes that see the best in people, a heart that forgives the worst, a mind that forgets the bad, and a soul that never loses faith in God.”

Elsista Bratcher

Ast, Kid's Minister
Mrs. Elsita was born in San Antonio but claims Kerrville as her home without any hesitation. She is proud to be a Tivy Alumni. TFND! She has a very close-knit family; she is a proud wife for over 20 years to her “Super Man,” Mr. Jason, and is an extremely proud mother of five amazing kids (Naomi, Ruben, Jaylin, Jazlyn, and Miracle) and one amazing son-in-law (Gilbert). Another one of her favorite titles comes from a one-year-old named Harmony who calls her “Glammie.” Teaching “tiny humans” came to Mrs. Elsita naturally. She worked with kids through being a dance instructor for years (ask her to show you a few moves). After coming to KCC in 2015, she got involved in the kids ministry right away, volunteering at every opportunity. Fast-forward to 2020, and she was offered her “dream job” where she would get to implement her teaching skills to lead children closer to Christ. In her free time you can find Mrs. Elsita in the kitchen as she is a Mexican food enthusiast (well…just a food enthusiast!). She also enjoys just being outdoors with her family. As a kids minister, it is her number one priority to remind each and every kid to always “let your light shine” no matter where you are! On any given Sunday, you will catch a glimpse of Mrs. Elsita dashing by each Bible class to check on our KCC Kids Squad volunteers and students. During worship time, you will find her near the stage for Kids Church – where it ALL GOES DOWN! On Wednesday nights, you will catch her teaching and having some fun in our Pre-K class. Mrs. Elsita’s life aim is letting her light shine so that others may see Christ in her. She eagerly awaits the day when she hears him say “WELL DONE!” Mrs. Elsita looks forward to meeting and walking alongside you and your family as disciples of Christ!
