We encourage all new and prospective members to attend a one-hour Starting Point class. Classes are offered on an as-needed basis and advertised well in advance. In Starting Point, you will discover our guiding values, foundational doctrines and congregational history. Since we ask all members to be fully invested, we discuss membership expectations up front, providing you the information to determine if KCC is the church home for you and your family. Because we consider active participation in church body life an irreplaceable part of spiritual health, in Starting Point we assist you in discovering service opportunities that best fit your skills and interests.
Church family members meet in small Life Groups on the first and third Sundays of each month in lieu of Sunday evening services. Each group spends time praying and checking on the spiritual welfare of other group members. We find the “one another” aspects of a small group invaluable for building loving, caring, life-long relationships with fellow believers.

Every week at KCC, people are giving of their time, talents and treasure to help people find and follow God. There are many ways to serve at KCC. Our First Connect Ministry serves to make sure each person feels at home from the moment they arrive at KCC. Our Team assists with refreshments, greeting, seating guests, and hosting occasional events. If you enjoy hospitality, making people feel welcome, and serving with a smile, this is the team for you.
Time Commitment: 30-40 minutes weekly, biweekly, or monthly
Our Facility + Environment Teams serve behind the scenes to keep our buildings ministry ready at all times. Our Facility Team maintains our building and grounds through cleaning, maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry), and landscaping. Our Environment Team helps prep for services and ministry events.
Time Commitment: 1.5 hours weekly, biweekly, or monthly
Our KCC Kids Team works through games, worship, small groups, and activities to help kids find and follow God. If you love kids (birth-6th grade) and enjoy making a difference in the life of a child, this is the team for you! We provide all the training and support you need to serve.
Time Commitment: 1.5-2.5 hours weekly, biweekly, or monthly
Capturing the energy and imagination of the next generation is the passion of KCC Youth. Our Team helps Jr. High & High School students find and follow God through a weekly youth service, small groups, as well as community and outreach events. If you enjoy working with youth, this is the team for you!
Time Commitment: 3 hours weekly
Our Worship Team uses their gifts and talents to lead our church to lift high the name of Jesus through worship. Our worship leaders and vocalists serve to facilitate an authentic worship experience at our service and ministry events.
Time Commitment: 6 hours weekly, biweekly, or monthly
Our Production Team serves to keep our services and ministry events running smoothly so that each person can have a great experience connecting with God and others. Our Team assists with audio, lighting and slide presentations.
Time Commitment: 2-3 hours weekly, biweekly, or monthly
