Landon Eades is passionate about encouraging and equipping students to follow Christ, helping them grow as leaders in their faith while striving to become 1% better every day. His core values of Discipline, Servant Leadership, and Joy guide his approach to youth ministry, as he seeks to build up the next generation of Christ-followers. He understands that none of this is possible without God and the Spirit that lives inside of all who believe in him.
Raised by two Christ-centered parents, Landon is deeply grateful for their influence. His father serves as the Senior Minister at Oak Hills Church in San Antonio, while his mother lives out her ministry daily as a dental hygienist. Their example has shown him the critical role parents and guardians play in a student’s spiritual development.
Landon is thankful to be at a church that values intergenerational gathering, serving the community, and sending one another out to be the light of the world in their respective circles. He believes youth groups should be a place where students’ faith is strengthened, preparing them for the next stage of life.
In his free time, Landon enjoys weightlifting, drumming, and listening to podcasts. He is excited to see how God will continue to work in the lives of these students and cannot wait to see them again 1,000 years from now in their eternal home.
