Elder's Announcement
Phase 1
Ask
In seeking the Way of the LORD, we must first ask God to reveal himself to us. This requires patiently waiting and listening for instructions. It requires becoming completely in tune with the Holy Spirit. We must ask for direction from the Good Shepherd before we can follow his voice.
Phase 2
Discern
In seeking the Way of the LORD, we must discern the path God has laid out for us. We have asked for guidance and are walking in tune with the Holy Spirit. Now, we must discern the specific ways in which Kerrville Church of Christ can enhance the ecumenical Body of Christ and carry out his mission in our community.
Phase 3
Follow
In seeking the Way of the LORD, we must now follow his instructions and implement them into every fiber of Kerrville Church of Christ. We have asked for guidance and discerned the voice of the LORD. Now, we must follow his voice by using what we have discerned as a lens for all that Kerrville Church of Christ does.
